Looking for this amazing layered desert I had in Minneapolis and wondering if it exists here in NYC.
3 delicious layers of sweetness:

1) Agar Agar jelly
2) sweet mung beans
3) sweet kidney beans

all served under a layer of shaved ice, coconut milk and sweetened condensed milk.

HELP!!

for some reason i blanking on specific names, but most of the viet restaurants in chinatown have che ba mau, its a very common (and delicious) vietnamese dessert. unfortunately vietnamese food in NY is very weak as there arent many vietnamese people here (i love vietnamese food too)

          Here's a start:

Given that Vietnamese restaurants in NYC are typically considered to be not as strong as other cuisines, I'd try somewhere in the Outer Boroughs for a good rendition.
