fried zucchini

Any tips on where to get fried zucchini? I love the fried zucchini I got at the fair at the fish and chip place. I tried the fried zucchini at Red Robin the other day but it was just okay.

I love Seau's fried zucchini sticks. I think they use panco breadcrumbs. It goes great with the ranch dressing dipping sauce.

Back in the days when I had a real job (in the '80s), we used to go next door to The Godfather on Clairemont Mesa Blvd (near Convoy) for drinks after work. They used to hand out some very tasty fried zucchini to munch on as we worked on our drinks. As I recall, they were quite tasty. By the way, The Godfather does them thinly sliced, not wedges or sticks.

Beef N Bun (wedges of the whole zucchini) and Greek Style Chicken (zucchini sticks- same as french fries). Both in El Cajon.
