Suggestions for romantic meal in Paris
I'm taking my wife to Europe for her first time. We'll be in Paris for two nights in early Oct. I'd like to take her to a romantic dinner. I'm not interested in famous chefs or Michelin stars. Of course, as someone said, nobody wants bad food, but I'd like to have great ambiance with good food. I'm open to all ares of Paris. Not really into novelle cusine.
I'm french and i live in the suburbs of Paris so i can help you. Here are some adresses :
Bistrot "typique" : Chez Chartier, a classic bistrot in Paris, very famous, very good and very cheap
Bistrot "à l'ancienne" : Bistrot Victoires
Restaurant with a great space : La Fermette Marboeuf (not far from the Champs Elysees
An original restaurant which was a relay of musketeers of Louis XIII : Le Tintilou.
I hope i've helped you.
She'd stop breathing there!
Could you tell us more about your definition of romantic? Some think the opulent Le Cinq is romantic. Others think a bistro-y bistro like Café des Musées or Chez Casimir is romantic. Could you check them out on google images and then give us an idea of what comes closest to your definition? or is it something else entirely.
