Roast Potatoes with Rice
Any one ever heard of this/ made this?

This was my paternal grandfather's favorite starch. My grandmother would make it with roast duck for his birthday and holidays.
We used to kid him about double starch, but now our daughters adore this. Grandma would use duck fat and broth/stock. My wife uses vegetable stock and a little oil. I think it's better with schmaltz.
