visiting for 5 nights..what to eat?

i will be in Boston for 5 nights with spouse and two boys (10 and 17)....we love to eat well but since we are with the boys we will not be visiting the very high end spots....appreciate any suggestions. ..thanks

    Hi ribboy--can you give any more guidance on what sort of stuff you're looking for? There are plenty of good restaurants in and around Boston, with a wide range of prices, cuisines, and ambiance. I'd suggest you take a look through the archives (for non-high-end ideas, take a look at this thread http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/724829 ) to get some idea of context.     Since it inevitably comes up, for seafood IN Boston, Neptune Oyster and Island Creek Oyster Bar are perennial favorites.
