ISO inventive ways to use up 12-15 already frozen/ripe bananas

I have searched the CH archives and Google for new ideas...but need more inspiration. Besides banana bread (cake or muffins) and smoothies...what do you chowhounds do to use up your overripe bananas? In this case, these are already past the "ripe" stage and have been frozen. I have a ton and want my freezer space back. Thanks in advance for your help!!

If it were me I'd be thinking about making banana cake (unrelated to banana bread) or banana chiffon pie ... or pudding ... and because of the heat we'd end up with banana ice cream.

Along those lines, you could probably infuse some vodka or rum with the bananas for a week or two and strain out the pulp for banana liqueur. Also, you could nuke them to get them to release their liquid, then reduce it and use it as a super concentrated banana syrup (again, for cocktails).

Clearly, the end of the week is near - all I seem to be able to think about today is cocktails!

Thanks! I am 7 1/2 months pregnant so I will have to hold onto the daiquiri and liquor motivation for a bit...The ice cream is a good possibility. I hope to see more good inspiration! Thanks for everyone's contributions. Any savory ideas?

I'm not sure how this would work with bananas (especially squishy frozen ones), but I like fried sweet plantains in all sorts of savory preparations. They are delicious as an enchilada filling with cheese and mole sauce, or mixed with braised shredded beef or pork as a stuffing for peppers, tacos, etc. The bananas might be good that way too, used sparingly!

Yum, thanks. I was planning on making a pork shoulder and shredding it for tacos/enchiladas. I might try mixing in the bananas, maybe seasoned with some chili powder and cumin to a little bit of the pork and test this theory out...Thanks!

Throw some in the food processor with a little bit of cream, sugar and lemon juice (and a pinch of salt) then put in ice cream maker for about 20 minutes. Banana ice cream.

This falls in the category of banana bread, but with a twist. I have a recipe for a blackberry/coconut banana bread that is very nice. If you are interested, I will post it.
