Where can I get it? I live in DC but travel up to NYC regularly.

I have seen it at Acme in Narberth PA. Call the store ask for the josher deli counter and I am sure they will tell you the brand they sell there. Here is the number:610-668-1738. They sell jars of the stuff by the Kosher sushi display along with veggie dumplings and a wonderful seaweed salad.

It is way nicer than the DC area and i used to live in Springfield so I kinda know what I am talking about:) The sushi we get is simply wonderful Charles does an amazing job:)

I actually saw some in the Clifton, NJ ACME supermarket (referenced above under another title) maker was I think "China Metsuyan" or something to that effect. They also made power wasabi

Is it possible that the brand was "Sushi Metsuyan" (like the restaurants)? I think I've seen their name on some products.

Its definetly not Sushi Metsuyan. Its a name I had never seen before, pretty sure it was China Metsuyan or some combination of the words China with a transliterated hebrew word. I think it had an OU on the label. It was in the dry kosher food section at ACME, near the asian noodles you just add water to.

Eden Organic has a hecscher on its pickled ginger. They're usually at Whole Foods.
