Outstanding restaurant near the Atlanta Airport? Help!
I'm going to be in Atlanta next weekend and will be spending a very l..o...n...g... day at the Convention Center near the airport. So about 8 of us will be having dinner around 8:30 - and it seems like it will be far and too exhausting to go back into town for dinner. Any thoughts? It can be a little pricey - we all deserve it! Thanks! And come to The Antiques Road Show at the convention center!

If you want to reward yourself after a hard day, make the drive into town. It's 15-20mins up the highway and worth it for how it will improve your dining options. Then I'd suggest you check out the threads for best in Atlanta or focus on the midtown area for ease of access from the highway.

It WiLL be a long day ... 14 hours minimum, and intense no doubt. And while downtown is appealing, is there still construction on I75/85 that week end? I got stuck last month for an hour on Saturday night near Cleveland Avenue. Just a heads up.
I don't see a lot on CHOW for either Pecan or Feed Store in East Point, both of which would be simple, no parking issues, and close by. Both, in MHO at least, have great food, something for everyone and could easily accommodate a party of 8. Perhaps someone who has been there more recently will chime in it's been a year or two since I went to either.
Sorry, didn't win the lottery this time, bummer.
