re: Room to Roam
Had a great meal at Blue last weekend (Scallops App and Boar 2 Ways highly recommended)
Peaked into their Event room and I'd be surprised if it can handle 50. Check out Harvest Moon Grille at the Dunhill. Attended a cocktail party at the Dunhill a few months back and had no idea they had such charming private rooms upstairs above the restaurant. Harvest Moon serves their local goodness in these rooms. Not positive but if I had to guess I think they can handle 50 for dinner.

The Liberty has a great private area. May not be enough room for 50 for a sit down, but I think that they can handle that many for drinks and apps.

re: Sam at Novas
We had some really horrible service at The Liberty a couple of weeks ago. They weren't busy (in fact they were dead) and staff kept walking by us as we waited to be seated. No acknowledgement, no nothing. Finally we stopped a waitress. She sat us and then waited on us and she was anxious to move us along... eventhough it appeared she wasn't getting off anytime soon. It was weird. My friend was still eating and she said to him "why don't you grab that ketchup off your plate and then I can take your plate and you can finish your fries". WTH??? It was crazy rude! Our burgers were overcooked too. Needless to say, it left a bad taste in mouth.

re: GodfatherofLunch
Yea, I have had a decent burger there and their fish sandwich was good, but nothing mindblowing. I was rooting for them though. I liked the concept and the renovation. They certainly have generated a lot of hype - kind of like Good Food on Montford - but I haven't experienced anything to justify the hype at either place.
