Ethiopian Food in Edmonton

You guys nailed it suggestion Viphalay for our Thai night, and now our Foodie Meetup Group wants to have an Ethiopian food night. What would you folks suggest for a restaurant that takes reservations, is fairly centrally located, and has parking?

Also, can most places adjust the spice of their dishes to accommodate members who can't handle much heat?

Thanks again!

Now that Langano Skies on Whyte Ave is closed (big fire a few months ago), my only other suggestion is Habesha on 118 Ave. I have eaten here a few times (twice in a large group, two or three times for the Wednesday vegetarian buffet). The food is always excellent. The place isn't very big, but they do take reservations. I remember them having a pretty good deal, something like 5 different dishes for $40 but it has been awhile since I've been there, so I'm not sure if they still do it. Works well for a large group though.

I second the recommendation for Habesha. I've eaten there a couple of times. The food is very good and the owner helpful. The meat and the vegetable combinations are a good way to try a bit of almost all the dishes on the menu.

I believe that Langano Skies will be reopening in a few weeks (although i could be wrong). It is great, so I hope so.
