Cinepolis: Del Mar Heights

Anyone been yet? Was just talking with a friend and he says it's the bee's knees. A BIG step up from popcorn, nachos, and soda.

I haven't tried it yet. Seems a tad goofy to me. You are only going to be in the theater for about 2 hours. Stadium seating is comfortable enough during that time, and you can always get whatever food you crave before or after a movie. However, having beer and wine available is nice.

Definitely a nice upgrade. Oh, those recliners and the space!! But I’ll be falling asleep in the first 15 minutes.

The food and beverage service sounds good too – but yeah I could wait until after. Yet I’m all for the “gourmet” options.

I would not bother with this cinema. Save your money. Sure the seats are nice and comfortable but it is $22.50 a pop for a 3D movie which would be fine if it was a great experience. BUT! All you will get the whole time is waiters and waitresses walking around with trays, blocking the view, talking to people and taking orders etc. Totally distracting and actually kind of rude! I was VERY dissapointed. Sure serve some food during the trailers but once the film starts that should be it. You might as well go sit in a sports bar to watch the film. Would probably be just as easy to watch and a LOT cheaper.

Don't waste your time. Go to somewhere decent like Edwards Mira Mesa instead where you will actually get to watch the film in peace.
