Best udon

Looking for thoughts on who has the best udon. Would like a place with some variety, including curry udon, if possible. Thanks in advance.

    NYChristopher -- I think the reason you have had no responses to your question is that, sadly, there just isn't great udon around here.... Han Dynasty on the 100 block of Chestnut has a pretty amazing (spicy!) noodle dish called Dan Dan Noodles.... Nam Phuong and Vietnam also have some great noodle dishes.

      Has anyone tried the udon at Doma? I remember hearing good things about that place on here.

        The other place I have heard that has Udon is Sang Kee in West Philadelphia (have not been).

        There is the obvious answer of Morimoto.. but I would only go and have Udon there for lunch if my boss were paying... unlike NY we do not have a large Udon selection here, ... I really wish someone would open one of the fast Udon shops that you see in NY, Boston and the West Coast.
