How to make sweet relish from dill relish

My sweet man purchased a gallon (yup) of Dill Relish by mistake - he and I only like sweet - dill pickles should be in dill pickle form - so my question is - has anyone found a recipie or has made sweet pickle relish out of dill relish - I assume adding sugar and spices should work but not sure - any help would be appreciated!
thanks :)

    1. or a food pantry. or a summer program for kids on subsidized lunches. Dills are dills. Sweets are sweetx. Different spices, different process, different beast.

Spoon out a little of the relish into a small bowl and add sugar. Taste it! If it works for you, use it. If not, donate it.
