Where is a good resturant with the best bread pudding (preferably with liquor!)

I need it right away for a girlfriend's birthday. She is from London and this is her favorite dessert!

Pinot Bistro does a very good one.

The Hungry Cat has a chocolate bread and butter pudding that's extra delicious. Whether it contains any alcohol is beside the point. It's good. And only $8.

That reminds me, I wish I had a chocolate bread pudding from Josie Restaurant right this damn minute. Now look at the trouble you've caused, Mick! ;-D>

The Grill On The Alley in Beverly Hills has an excellent Bread Pudding with whiskey sauce.

Kate Mantellini also has very good Bread Pudding.

but they only serve beer and wine, right? sorry, I guess that I'm unclear from the OP whether she wants a bread pudding that includes liquor or a restaurant that serves excellent bread pudding that also has a liquor license.

I am almost (ha) sure it was a bread pudding with a sauce that the OP was calling for (such as the ubiquitous "whiskey" sauce that gets served with it in so many places) that has liquor in it...I like the ones that incorporate one of the coffee liquors as an ingredient in the bread pudding itself...

I thought she meant liquor in the pudding. If not, then u are right, Barbrix only serves wine/beer. But they have delicious wine. And a tawny port with their bread pudding is so good!

Masa in Echo Park has the most delicious bread pudding. They also serve alcohol! http://www.masaofechopark.com/index.php

Sorry, got the wrong idea...meant alcohol (usually whiskey) IN the bread pudding!

Second! They make it with chocolate and plain (and maybe almond) croissants. It is the best I have ever had! Not sure if they put alcohol in the sauce, though. Either way, it is hard to beat.

Suzanne Goin's/Lucques' bread pudding is one of the most famous in LA, perhaps, but they are not serving it now in the summer.
