Rouget moving

gsElsbeth Jul 25, 2011 12:01 PM

Yes, that's what I heard. To Lambertville, because their rent went up so much. Hard to believe that Lambertville rents are lower than Newtown's. DH and I are joining friends there tomorrow. Sorry to see what has been a very decent restaurant leave the Newtown area.

I wonder if they are going to stay BYO. They certainly will get more traffic being in the Lambertville/New Hope corrdor.

BTW on the Rouget restaurant it says that they are closing at the end of July, with a possible opening in Lambertville in October.

Well, we had a very good dinner at Rouget last night. Crab cake held together with shrimp mousse and no bread filler was excellent. They are moving to the site of #9, opening in October and they will be staying BYO.

Wow! That is a much smaller space, isn't it?

We had an excellent dinner last night. The crab cake was the favorite of four entrees. It was awesome. Other favorites include the shrimp appetizer and cauliflower soup. Looking forward to trying their new space! Looks like August 6 is the last day for Newtown, PA location.
