Cinnamon Rolls at Little Dom's - Any Others I Should Try?
I had the best cinnamon rolls from Little Dom's last week. I don't remember seeing them on the menu, but they're available in the deli in back.
They're small, about 2 inches across and about an inch tall. And they burn the sugar on the bottom a little which adds a delicious bitterness to counteract the sweetness of the roll. This was a really good cinnamon roll.
Sometimes I'm in the mood for a good one. Where are other good ones?

Brunch at Jar is known for its sticky buns.

Believe it or not, I really like the morning buns at some Starbucks. Not all the stores have them but I've spotted them at the Sunset/Gower & Wilshire/Highland locations. They're essentially light cinnamon rollss. They sometimes offer to heat them up for you, or, you can nuke for 15 seconds to warm the inside and finish off with a minute or 2 in a toaster oven to get 'em toasty on the outside. They are quite good and light and not too sweet.

Sweet Jill's in Long Beach and Seal Beach. Theirs are ginormous, sweet and drowned in caramelized sugar goo. They make one with walnut pieces, and one without. You can further drown yours in white icing, or not. One is big enough to share with two other people. It's what Cinnabon wishes it could be. This is what they're known for, so they have freshly baked ones coming out of the oven all day long.
