Graffiti - East Village - quick review

Just had an OUTSTANDING meal at Graffiti in the East Village. Seriously inventive and reasonably priced. Almost everything we had was great. Standouts were:

Watermelon and feta salad with a very cooling and refreshing mint sorbet
Pickled ginger scallops with candied red chilis
Braised pork buns with apricot chutney
Chickpea-crusted skate
Cumin eggplant buns
A dessert of a pineapple tarragon "salsa" with a vodka tequila ice - this didn't sound like the best thing from the description but we all thought it was fantastic

Service was friendly but knowledgeable. The wine list was reasonably priced with all bottles $25 or $45. They also allow corkage at $20 a bottle.

Looking forward to heading back.

Thanks for the reco, iaba. Just checked the menu, which appears nicely eclectic....think I'll give it a shot, myself!
