Pinellas County Burgers

TampaAurora Jul 23, 2011 05:12 PM

Now that Tampa has come into its own with Burger 21 and Burger Monger, I can get my burger fix over there, but I don't know of anywhere on my side of The Bay to get a good burger outside of my own home. Is there any place to grab a tasty burger that someone put some thought into making?

Paddy O'Sullivan's in St. Pete Beach - excellent black angus, lamb, wagyu, wild boar, alligator, and dozens of excellent beers.

You know, Tom, they are on my list to try but just have not made it there yet. Hoping for good things at Paddy's.

The best burgers that have stood the test of time (not the fancy kind though) in pinellas i think are:

      El Cap: 3500 4th St N
      The Chattaway: 358 22nd Ave S
Ted Peters: 1350 Pasadena Ave S
      Biff Burger: 3939 49th St N

The Burg opened in January that does some fancier style burgers, i haven't had it yet, but it looks great, and has a fantastic beer list. (1752 Central Ave)

I like El Cap, I get the cheeseburgers with two patties. They are juicy burgers.

The beer list is above average and the burgers are really good, yes.

Ohh, the chicken wings are really good too! (Time to update chicken wing thread.)
