Seattle Hound Needs Help - Miami Beach

Hey Miami ~ My company will be exhibiting at a meeting at the Miami Beach Convention Center. We need a resto with a private room for a group of approximately 40 ppl. We'd have our business meeting on a Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until about 6:00 p.m. and then switch to food and beverage mode. I used to get to Ft. Lauderdale several times a year but that was a long time ago and way too far away. Suggestions for the Miami Beach area? All are welcome!

I have been to and are in south beach:
BLT Steak - very good
Burger & Beer Joint - very good
China Grill - Good (have not been in a long time though
)Yuca - (Have not been there in a very long time)
Escopazzo - (Have not been in years, not my favorite but other people like it)
Grillfish- standard fish place (have not been in years)
Meat Market - Good, pricey - other people like it more than me
Nobu - (have not been in a long time, pricey)
Quattro - good, pricey (have not been in a long time)
Red - did not love it, but others do and to be fair, I went once when it just opened and the steak was very good, the sides were the problem for me and I know others swear by this place both steak and sides, pricey
Sushi Samba - good (not sure how they pull this off -- maybe they close the inside...)

South Beach - never been but worth mentioning
De Rodriguez on Ocean (have never been but have been to his other restaurants)
Rosa Mexicano - I went to the new york location years ago great guacamole and pisco sours, miami new times gave this place a pretty good review.
STK (I know nothing about this place except it is a clubby type place is pricey and is a nyc transplant)
