PBC and Broward caterers for delivered lunches?

smartie Jul 22, 2011 02:35 PM

We are lucky enough to get lunches brought in most days in our office and frankly we have run out of ideas for who makes good food that will deliver for around $12-15 per person.

Corporate Caterers are really pretty poor, the food is unappealing, salads are close to brown and soggy (their latest offering had huge and I mean huge chunks of zucchini and squash, old grated carrots and lettuce which might have been ok 2 weeks prior), their rice is hard and smells horrid. Carol's Kitchen is truly awful most of the time. We are sick of chicken from all the caterers

We order from Boston Market, Executive Caterers, Toojays, local sandwich and sub places, Anthony's Coal Fired, Chicken Chop, Macaroni Grill, Pita Principle, local Chinese places which are mostly nasty, Howard's Market (this has gone downhill since the owner passed) etc but are bored with our current choices.

Any suggestions from other locals?

I don't know how far they are from you or whether you are too far away, but we often get lunch delivered from Nature's Way in Delray and Phat's in West Palm. Both make great wraps, salads, and sandwiches.

We've had lunches catered by Deli on Rye and pizza from Renzos pretty regularly and enjoyed them. Just typing that bored me lol. I liked Souvlaki Fast too.

My favorite caterer in PBC is Rock Star Catering. You'll have to goole them to find their page. Kyle is a fantastic chef! Don't know how far he'll travel, but he's fantastic!
