Heading up to WaterFire in Providence, RI next weekend, dining options along the way

Anything along the way outside of Providence for dinner or even in the downtown area. We may decide to eat along the way once we get into RI or eat in downtown. Would like to keep our options open. Something casual would be nice, since it will probably still be warm/hot out. We are coming from CT probably off of I-95. Thanks, Richie
