Restaurant recs for 4 couples

Looking for recommendations for a fun dinner spot for a group of 4 couples.

Looking for somewhere that is reasonably priced, with good food. We'd like to stay in the LES, East Village area.

Mercadito was the first place that came to mind, but I doubt they have a reservation open for tonight.

I'm obviously too late to recommend something for the night of July 22. Where did you end up? I would have checked Open Table - in fact, I did that for a friend tonight and told her which restaurants had availability that I liked.
