We had a nice meal at Hemmingway's and we frequented the Tiki Hut and Da Conch Shack twice during our last trip to Provo.

Will you have a car? Anacaona is the $$$$ sterling in Grace Bay, but you will want to sample Turtle Cove, Blue Hills, and maybe the lobster packing plant?

My favorite dinner spot in Grace Bay is Hemingways. I'm sure you can get a nice lunch and beverage service at Regent Palms. Both of the Ocean Clubs are accessible to walk-ins if you are strollin the beach and want a variety. With the car, take the Bight road to Turtle Cove and check out the boats at the marina. The Tiki Hut is where the local dive crowd do happy hour and grouper sandwiches. Baci is pretty good Italian, decent pizza.

Da Conch Shack in Blue Hills is a must for lunch. Conch salad, cracked conch, fritters, all fresh, as in 10 minutes out of the water.

You will have cooking equipment at RP, check out the lobster packing plant about 3:30 some afternoon when the boats are coming in, and get some fresh tails. Eat 'em hot, or as chilled medallions, bring your spices of choice for your lobster preparation. Take the roundabout just east of the airport, toward 5 Cayes, then a left at the petrol station, then left at the Y onto the unpaved road, it dead ends at the 2 lobster plants. Same general direction as South Dock. From South Dock, go right a short distance to Sapodilla bay, there are many public rights of way for access and parking, all over the island. Take advantage of them. All beach front is public. Sapodilla Bay is one pretty place to beach it. It's where the sail boats moor. Check out the mansions along Chalk Sound, the one at the end of the road is incredible, owned by a young french couple. Go explore, just be careful as you adjust to L hand driving, and minimize your night driving. The conch farm and the marina at the east end of the Leeward highway are worth a look-see. They'll ding you a few bucks for a short tour of the farm, but it's interesting, and it has a colorful, sordid past.

Enjoy! Grace Bay is one of the prettiest beaches in the world. Also, bring Neet this time of year.
