Mudslides on Cape Cod
I am off Cape til Sept. but am craving a mudslide. Am getting geared up for my return to have raw bar and mudslides somewhere. I know Raw Bar has them but not up for heading to New Seabury. Any great spots mid to lower Cape? I once heard the bartender at Pate's tell me he made a mean Mudslide but that ambiance does not excite me..

Hmmm...If I were you I'd just pick any place that has the ambiance you want and makes frozen drinks. (or maybe you just want one on the rocks?) The only lousy mudslide I've ever had is from places that use that awful Island Oasis fake mix, or substitute coffee brandy for Kaluha. Just specify, vodka, Kaluha, Baileys, and a splash of cream and you should get a good one!
How about the outdoor patio at Wequasette Inn or maybe Chatham Bars Inn?

I've finally decided to stop stalking and start posting, and I just wanted to let you know how much I've appreciated your reviews and commentary over the years. With my husband working in Boston and two busy teenaged boys, I don't get out to eat as often as I would like, but I expect something better than I can cook at home--unfortunately, this is not always the case on the Cape. You have been a reliable source for me, so many belated thanks. BTW, I'm also in W. Barnstable.
