I grew up in Edison and my all time favorite pizza that I was "raised" on was Tony's on the corner of Park Ave. and Oak Tree Road in the older strip mall. (with the Wendy's in the parking lot). When ever I'm in town I still stop by for a slice and within the last year or so I had still seen Tony in there making the pies himself. That is over 40 years now!! That would be for North Edison.......for central Edison/Metuchen area as someone else noted you have LaRosa's but they are actually in Metuchen. Villa Gennaro on Rt. 27 is excellent for coal oven and exotic pizza with more meals Italian meals to offer than just stuffed shells etc. at most normal pizza parlors.

Panatieri on Talmadge Road in Edison has really good pizza and I especially like their fresh mozzarella pizza. I also like Highland Pizza, which jethro suggested. It's on Raritan Avenue (Route 27) in Highland Park - good pizza and they deliver.

I can't say if this is the best pizza around Edison but Menlo Pizza used to be very good (I haven't been for about two years). It's a hole-in-the-wall place wedged into the strip between Route 1 South and the Menlo Park Mall. Don't know about delivery but you could phone and ask.
This is not a place to go for dinner. This is a pizza joint!

I was turned onto Zia Lisa on Plainfield Ave. right near Burger King and Tastee Subs. Very good pizza, sandiches and all are good too. I am not sure if the deliver though, check out the web. Highland Pizza is also very good.
