Ethiopian in Calgary

Me and a few friends are starting to go around the city trying out more exotic cuisine and we have decided to go for Ethiopian next. Problem is I don't know if Calgary even has any Ethiopian places. So suggestions?

Another vote for Fassil. Service is slow but friendly and food is always delicious.

Also, rosetown - thanks for that review... I am looking forward to giving Ibex a try.

I like the food at Marathon and Fassil a lot as well, but be forewarned that the service can sometimes be very relaxed at both places.

If you want to sample some of the cuisine before you commit to a full meal, Taste of Calgary is coming up (Eau Claire Market August 11-14). That's where I had my first taste of Ethiopian food several years ago and it was delicious.

Had a great time at Marathon earlier this year. I've heard people say it's pricey but for what you get I was really impressed.
