Going to NH... duty free or not

I'm visiting friends in New Hampshire and want to buy them a gift.... (i.e. vodka and some decent French wine... not paying SAQ prices). Figuring for the French wine, I'm better off at the Duty Free... as for vodka should I wait to be in NH or not... are prices good???
Thanks

Thanks to everyone for their input....
If I'm buying vodka or gin it seems that it is awesome good bargain in NH.... for wines (since I'm going down from Montreal to NH) seems like a better bargain at the duty free... although choice is very limited. I'm thinking French wine.
Thanks again.... looking forward to a few nice days in NH.

        Their Lebanon store is well-stocked.
I know because we just came back from there.
We find their hard liquor prices excellent but their wine prices aren't much different than we find back home(Upstate New York).
A bottle of 750ML Crown Royal runs around $20ish in New Hampshire;around $35ish in New York.
If you buy a case in N.H. they usually give you another 10% or so off that price.

Also remember that lots of high quality wines and liquors are on sale every month at the NH Liquor Stores, so look for the sale items for the real bargains.

Look for one of the specialty stores in one of the larger towns, they'll have a larger selection.

The NH State Liquor Outlets are actually very fair on pricing and often have a great selection on wine (US and imported) as well as spirits. You can check them out online for locations/hours. They are running a 15% off on French wines through July 31st.

I was about to post the same link. Keep in mind that for hard liquor the state stores are the only option.
