Restaurant recommendations with a color in the name
We've been challenged to come up with a restaurant with good food that also has a color in its name. This is a longstanding theme with some friends. So far, we've been to Turquoise, Sepia, Silver Seafood, Sage Grill, Golden Chef, Vermilion, Marigold, Hot Chocolate, and so on. The only requirements are that the food has to be good and that it will take reservations for a party of 4 on a Saturday night. BYOB is fine, and anything from casual to uber-fancy is okay with us. We live in the far north burbs (near Gurnee), but are willing to travel 1+ hours. Ideas?

The Purple Pig. I haven't been but I'm doing some research for my visit this fall and I'm definately planning on going to the Purple Pig.

Blue Elephant, a Thai restaurant on the Rogers Park/Edgewater border at Devon & Broadway. Also, I haven't been but I hear the Red Apple is some of the best Polish food in Chicago, it's at 3123 N. Milwaukee. What a fun idea!!
