Where can I find pork belly out near Collegeville

I'm making Miso Ramen with Chashu today and I need pork belly. I don't believe Wegmans has it but have heard that Whole Foods may?

  1. Asian markets carry it usually. Do you have an H-Mart?

Unfortunately no. I do regularly frequent a nearby Korean market but as of late I have not spotted any meats in their cases.

I'll have to check it out. I just decided that i'm going to make Pho Bo with the large amount of beef bones that I have sitting around. I'll Make Ramen next Tuesday.

I was just in Assi the other day and they have a huge selection of pork belly in about six different sizes. This looks like the go to place for pork belly in the burbs.

      2. what about Lansdale Meats and Deli on N Broad?

        1. Kolb's in Spring City can get it for you -- we've gotten from them in the past. I think it might take a day or two if I remember correctly.

          1. Don Pedro meats in Phoenixville carries it.

If you want high quality pork belly, order it from Country Time Farm at the Phoenixville farmer's market, but you have to buy the whole pork belly. They supply many restaurants in Philly, including Vetri.

            1. Well you can definitely get it at Assi in Lansdale. You can also usually get it at Sae Han Market in Blue Bell.
