Palena Cafe waits

I am looking to go to Palena Cafe tonight around 7-7:15. Since the cafe has been in the new space, I have only been there for brunch. Does anyone know if I should have success getting a table at 7 on a Tuesday night?

You should be able to get a table, sure. The cafe is greatly expanded as you know, That said, there can be waits since they do not do reservations for that space. But I'd expect on a Tuesday you should be OK.

For just two? Sure. I went a few Wednesdays ago and the restaurant still had plenty of seating at 7 p.m. I've been on Fridays at 7:30 and been seated right away (even though it was still very busy).

The waits aren't nearly as long as the old cafe days.

We didn't get there until about 8 but we were seated immediately. The cafe space was almost completely full and our booth was in the old space.
Another great meal. I had the lamb breast and she had the konisberge klopse (meatballs). The lamb was amazing, with a great texture and nice flavor. the meatballs were a little too heavy for this heat. they also were very patient with me not knowing much about wine and offered us a few tastes to decide. Remains near the top of my list

          Yep...one of my favorite places.
