Didn't do much searching/looking for some tips London

Staying near Tower of London - wondering if anyone has any tips/places for relatively cheap breakfast spots? Not into the hotel breakfast every morning, but would love to grab a bagel/coffee, pastry ..etc...

Maria's Cafe in Borough Market is worth a visit, more of a lower end working man's blow out breakfast than anything else! However, it's a good 15 or 20 minutes walk west from The Tower so not much use if your work takes you in another direction (I assume where you are staying means you are here for work?)

I think another London Hound has mentioned a good cafe somewhere just south over Tower Bridge......I'll try to find the post.
