Vegas Trip Dinner

TopGearFoodForce Jul 17, 2011 01:47 PM

Going to vegas with 7 others, some big eaters, some not. Where is a place with nice decor that will impress, good food a la carte for about 60-100$ a person at most?

thanks for the help

Sage (ARIA) for more traditional, experience - wonderful food, beautiful digs,
l"Atellierde Joel Robechon - fabulous french food in quirky style retaurant. Sit at the bar is fun, but with 7 you should reserve a table.

L'Atelier for $60-100? Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahaha. Sage would be pushing it as well.

Sage is definitely one choice and you can definitely eat well there for under $100 - even with a glass or two of wine. People are always talking about the $45 special at Charlie Palmer's place. Wicked Spoon at the Cosmopolitan also works. Frankly you have lots of choices depending on what your "big eaters" like. If decor is less important, Lotus of Siam would also be great.

We had a pretty mediocre meal at Sage a few months ago. Rather unimpressive service, and very sadly, a total neglect of the 25th anniversary that we informed them in advance we were celebrating that evening...very disappointing. But even our food wasn't great! Did we just hit them on a terribly off night??? We really are not inclined to return, but we've heard so many good things about the place.

you must have hit them on a bad night. Every time I've been there (OK twice) it has been excellent.
