Rugelach and chocolate babkas

Where to find, mid-town Toronto up to Thornhill, the best rugelach and chocolate babkas?

Yitzs Deli at Avenue and Eglinton does an awesome chocolate rugelach... also added to my new list of faves from there are the Chocolate Horns, which are sort of a mix between a rugelach and a little croissant. If i'm not careful I'll eat a whole box all at once.

Bagel World. Hands down.

Both are great at What-a-Bagel.......Daiters also does a good rugelach..I always loved the rugelach (but not the food) at the "Lock Stock & Bagel" ..also "Allen's Bakery" both are now just a memory..too bad...

I loved Lock Stock & Bagel... Its so sad that that storefront has been sitting empty for so long!

My favourite rugelach are from the Bagel place @ Sheppard and Bathurst (the name is escaping me).

I just remembered the name of the bagel place @ Bathurst and Sheppard... it's Bagel Plus. And, Kiva's also sells really good rugelach.

My favourite rugelach: Phipps Bakery believe it or not. Fantastic. Previous favourite was Open Window, but they are no longer in business sadly.
