Wedding at the Rosewater Room

I am considering having my wedding at the Rosewater Room in Toronto and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their experience with me. I know there have been a few posts about wedding venues in Toronto, and a couple about the Rosewater in particular but I have yet to find one which goes beyond simply "the food was good/bad/etc." I would love to know what exactly the menu consisted of, the quality of the food, etc. Thanks!

  1. I attended a wedding in May, I believe it was the Rosewater Room (upstairs from the actual restaurant) The room was lovely, high ceilings, small patio off the back, intimate yet spacious enough for people to move about. Our meal consisted of soup (butternut sqaush puree), mixed green salad with raspberry balsamic vinagerette, choice of salmon or beef (both cooked perfectly, simple and quite delicous) - large portions..can't remember the sides though (but do recall eating everything)..dessert was chocolate mousse I think. I was impressed with the quality of the food as well as the service. Our meal may not have been crazy inventive, but it was executed well and everyone at our table enjoyed the food..not too many leftovers!

Thank you so much for your reply! I am glad to know that the food quality was there; we will be designing our own menu so creativity is not really too much of an issue as long as the execution is good.
