Suggestions for a business lunch in Greenwich

I'm looking for a nice restaurant in Greenwich for a business lunch next week. It should be quiet venue with good food. The two people I'll be with are not adventuresome eaters. A nice view wouldn't be bad either. Money not really an issue. Thx.

You need to head on down to Greenwich harbor & eat out on the water ( or inside if it's to muggy ).
The Mooring in Riverside also has a great view. If you want more casual check out the Restaurant at at the Old Mill In Greenwich. ( None of the above will disappoint. )

C'mon Hounds! Only two recommendations for Greenwich? How about if I say Greenwich or Stamford?

You can't go to wrong at L'escale on the water. It's designed with expense account meals in mind.
A more casual idea is Ginger Man near the top of Greenwich Ave. It's basically upscale pub food, but well executed. An underrated spot is Douro on Putnam Ave, just west of Greenwich Ave. It is Portuguese, but the menu should be accessible to even the unadventurous. It much more casual than L'escale

(NB - I work in Greenwich, but my job keeps me at my desk for lunch. Those recs are based on dinners)

how about Gabriele's Italian Steakhouse on Church St. Seems to be geared toward the expense account clients.

I had a business dinner there a couple of weeks ago. It compares very favorably to the top NYC steakhouses, and is priced accordingly. I didn't include it in my earlier list because I'm not sure that they serve lunch. If they do, it should be considered.

Thanks so much Steve and miss. I think I'm goiong to do L'escale. Isn't that the restaurant that's part of the Delamar Hotel?

The lunch was today and was perfect. L'escale was two minutes off 95, the food was excellent (I had grouper, another in our party had a salad with grilled chicken and another had the lobster club), and the ambiance was just what we were looking for...classy, quiet... Thanks again for the suggestion. I love Chowhound. Ask virtually any food or restaurant question and you will get informed opinions!
