Plus, they also have the hottest salsa I've found in DC. Their tacos are good, but small and way overpriced (ala Oyamel). I've only been late night when their "taqueria" is open, and I've heard they have some weird ordering restrictions during the "regular restaurant" hours (like you can only order taco platters, and they won't allow you to get different types of meats in your different tacos).
I love both The Standard and Marvin's, but neither has a view to speak of. The Standard is outdoor seating on street level with a "view" of 14th St. - and great food, which you said you don't care about. Marvin's is a pleasant 2nd floor deck, but not much of a view. Also, as I recall, people outside at Marvin's stand holding drinks - I don't recall tables out there.
