Cinnamon rolls

what are some good choices for a Sunday morning cinnamon roll? I usually hit Bread and Cie or Con Pane. Any new ideas? I like bread-y, gooey ones especially !

    I feel like I am going to send you to Berlin for some donner kebab but here goes. Up in Pismo Beach is a place called Far Western Bakery. It is north of the pier. They really are good. They have a stand at the SD county fair (they are out by the pig races) and that is where I get my fix. Though I do think the ones from the bakery mother ship are better.

      Are you talking about Old West Cinnamon Rolls? Perhaps you are getting Far Western Tavern and Old West Cinnamon Rolls mixed up because I'm pretty sure there isn't any placed called that in Pismo Beach :).

          Thanks for the suggestions! I will try Baked and Urban Solace. I heard the Alpine Bread Basket closed awhile ago.
          I ended up this week at Homies Cinnamon Roll on 10th and Market downtown. It was a DELICIOUS cinnamon roll, if anyone happened to be down there.
          Also enjoyed the Donner jokes that were taken down :)

        Yeah, definitely go to Urban Solace.

        I remember the Bread Basket in Alpine having good ones back in the day. Anyone know if they still do? Is the Bread Basket even still open?

        A small bakery in Mission Beach called BAKED. If I hadn't lived in neighborhood for two months, I'd never have known about it. Homemade Cinnamon Rolls are their speciality. Parking's an issue, but not if you go early. They open at 6:30am 7 days a week but call before you show to make sure the Cinnamon Rolls are fresh out of the oven.
