Mexican food without the bean/rice/red sauce in Reno

Looking for a Mexican restaurant similar to Rick Bayless's offerings (Topolobampo, Frontera Grill, XOCO) in the area. It seems that the local scene is lacking in anything other than the usual combination plates.

You won't find Topolobampo or Fronera Grill here in Reno, but a couple of places that are different from the rest here are Beto's and Los Cuatro Vientos (145 Casazza Dr). You might also try Tacos El Rey (5100 Mae Anne Ave), though I haven't been there yet.

These are somewhat more authentic than the others, but they're not top of the line places like Bayless' in Chicago.
