Baking & Pastry Class at Kendall College

I am looking for a hands-on baking and pastry class here in the city. Can anyone speak of the Fundamentals of Baking and Pastry class offered at Kendall College? The description looks great and the price isn't scaring me away too much, however I want to make sure it will be worth my while. I am not interested in enrolling; I just want to gain some basic pastry skills.

I have taken a few cooking classes at the Chopping Block and did not see any baking or pastry classes that would fit what I'm looking for. The average cost of the classes I have taken at the Chopping Block have been between $40-$60 for a few hours, so to me $125 for a 6 hour class is not crazy. Or if you think this price is crazy, please let me know what you think would be an acceptable price.
