Where to find NON-ultra pasturized cream

I keep reading that pasturized cream is significantly better than ultra-pasturized, but have been unable to sind it. Does anyone know where it is sold in the Austin area?

Yes! Go to Wheatsville... they carry organic low-temp pasteurized dairy from Texas Daily Harvest. They used to sell Way Back When's products, but the last few times I've been there I haven't seen them.

I will check Wheatsville again although a couple of years ago, I went *everywhere*. All markets, all farmer's markets...no one carried pasturized cream. Only ultra-pasturized cream. I tried to get in a raw milk group, but after several weeks, they still hadn't voted me in so I gave up. I just want to try it in a couple of recipes. Thanks everyone.

i think there has been more of a non-ultra pasteurization trend in the past 1-2 years.
i recall seeing way back when dairy (or whatever their original name was) on greenling.

I'm not in Austin, but I get mine at Whole Foods, if you have one there.

Check with Greenling. Even if they don't carry what you are looking for, they may be able to give you some guidance.
