Has anyone tried these relatively lower fat popcorn/chip hybrids?

My god they are addictive.

I can only find them at the Kitchen Table though. Does anyone know where to find them? Haven't looked too hard but so far I have not seen them at Loblaws, Metro, or SDM....

  1. They sound similar to Pop Chips, which I've seen at Bruno's.

Popcorners are totally different, but thanks TorontoJo... :)

Ah well, sorry! Good luck with your search. Nothing worse than discovering a new item and being unable to source it.

        1. re: TorontoJo

          Indeed :)

If you are ever near a Kitchen Table I highly recommend them. I’ve tried the Cheesy Jalapeno and White Cheddar flavours so far. Both are yum!

          1. re: magic

I love those two flavours also! I get them at Kitchen table.

            1. re: justsayn

As do, I. We might compete for the few bags left - you and I!

If we can find more places to purchase them that would help :)

              1. re: magic

Its no joke! They fly off the shelf! Beware of the small packs though - I have found them to be stale!

                1. re: justsayn

Oh I didn't even know they came in small packs, I've just seen larger ones.... interesting.

                  Okay, thx!

    2. I bought these at Magnolia on College at Euclid. Sorry but blech.

        Don't be sorry.

      2. You should call Pusateri's and see if they carry them. They often have products that other stores don't carry.

Yeah, I was thinking them. And maybe try Whole Foods and Fiesta Farms.

          1. re: magic

I didn't even think of Whole Foods, but you're right, they very well might carry them.

            1. re: kwass

There you go. Admittedly I haven't done an extensive search yet, just throwing it out there first in case some know of places where they're available....

        2. I wanted to let you know that I was @ Pusateri's yesterday and they do carry Popcorners

Oh nice! Thanks for keeping that in mind and letting me know kwass! Excellent.

            1. re: magic

Just an update to anyone that might care: I tried the Butter flavour and find it wayyyy too salty. So I'm not sure I even want to try the Sea Salt flavour - eep!

That said, the Cheesy Jalapeno and White Cheddar flavours are still delicious and addictive.

              1. re: magic

Sea Salt is a big yawn IMO

                1. re: justsayn

Interesting. Okay, sticking with Cheesy Jalapeno and White Cheddar. Thx!!

                2. re: magic

I saw Popcorners today at the two health food stores on Kensington Ave. near St Andrew's.

                  1. re: crawfish

                    Thanks crawfish :)

                  2. re: magic

Sea salt is good. The only one I like. I'll check Pusateri's. Thanks

              2. Magic....I ate the whole bag....

Popcorners' answer to the salty, sweet popcorn you see everywhere is called Kettle. It is amazing!

                Race ya!

                1. re: justsayn

I think Kettle is the only one I have not yet tried (well, Sea Salt too - but I have no desire to try that variety).

My love is mainly for the Cheesy Jalapeno variety. I can eat bags. White Cheddar pretty good too. Butter flavour is just too damn salty - blech.

                  Must try Kettle.

                  1. re: magic

I agree. Cheesy Jalepeno was by far the clear front runner......but now there's Kettle!

                    1. re: justsayn

                      Ok gonna try : )

                    2. re: magic

Have you ever tried the butter or caramel flavour.. They are listed at the back of the small bags but I can't find a place in the north York area that has those flavours

                      1. re: WaqaasM786

Yes, I've tried the butter and found it too salty for me.

                        Haven't tried the caramel.

Both varieties are widely available, perhaps you've just been unlucky? Can't think of a specific place off the top of my head that carries them but I know I've seen them around plenty.

                        Good luck!

                  2. I saw these at Max's Market on Queensway and took a look but didn't end up buying them...sounds like i'll have to give them a try! I'll have to remember they may be at Kitchen Counter one late night after the bars when Doritos are calling me!!

The irony is that I would probably eat the same amount of calories either way. lol Doritos would be gross after one normal bag and these I want to eat an entire jumbo bag!

                      2. Since the thread's been bumped, I'll mention that I bought some of these at Costco awhile back. Just in case any of the fans want a *lot* of Popcorners.

It was a giant-assed bag and since it barely got touched at the event I bought it for, it took me a hella long time to eat it by myself. I liked them with just the thinnest bit of chevre spread on them.

                        1. You can buy them at Bulk Barn.

                          1. Love the White Cheddar and the Jalapeno. Tried the Kettle, too sweet for my tastes. But they are great.

                            1. In Canada I found the Kettle flavour at Costco in Scarborough (Warden Ave. & Ellsemere Rd.) for $4.99CAN for the 18 oz. bag. I first found the Sea Salt flavour in Philadelphia for $4.99US and have fallen in love this snack.

                              1. Yes. Costco. Bulk Barn. Aside from kitchen table of course. Nothing like Pop Chips.
