Non-chain & inexpensive family restaurant by/around the inner harbor
Hey all, I'm from NY and will be spending the weekend down at Baltimore. We are staying around the inner harbor area. I've been researching restaurants around here but I'm getting confused on where to go, so I need your help! But here's the catch, my father LOVES seafood but my mom is allergic to it. What are some inexpensive (under $22ish per dish) restaurants that offer a great selection of both seafood and non-seafood meals? Thanks!

We were just at Miss Shirley's a few weeks back at the inner harbor and it was GREAT. I REALLY wanted to not like it because it even advertises as a tourist spot, but it really was great. Check it out - the chicken and waffles were amazing and their menu is really big and could please anyone....

Inner Harbor and non-chain do not go together. Actually there aren't too many places that do a great job at both. It's one or the other.
One option is Canton Dockside (get there by car or bus). They have a good variety. Can't say much on the non-seafood but their crabs are good. Definitely family friendly.
