I'd hit the 13th Street corridor, Barbuzzo, Zavino, Sampan, El Vez (in that order), or Lolita or Bindi if you don't mind BYOB.

Absolutely!! If you can't get one, you should make alternate plans. Farther down the street is Amis, also awesome, and make reservations.

ate a barbuzzo...let me tell you awesome..had the sheeps ricotta with figs soooo good,meatballs and gnocchi also awesome had the budino to die for..to bad it was so hot we wanted to try more but our stomachs couldnt do it....basil lemonade hit the spot...will def go back THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Awesome! Glad you enjoyed it. The sheeps milk ricotta was a stand out to me as well!

That stuff is so good. As are the marrow bones. A memorable night found us grazing at Sampan and Barbuzzo. Many plates were eaten, not a bum dish among them.
