Palm Springs for 3 dinners?

We will be spending 3 nights in Palm Springs and need 3 dinner recommendations in the further than 20 minutes away. Thinking about Copley's, Circa 59 @ The Riviera, Spencer's, Wally's Desert Turtle, etc. Are these good choices? Are there others that are better? Looking for good food, ambiance and service...all are important to us.

  1. First, you can probably find many other threads from the past Here's a recent one: . Wally's is probably one of my fav's from long past - my family has been in the area for 22 years. However, mom tells me the service has gone S lately and, it's quite pricey Maybe try the bistro menu. And, report back.

In PSP proper, you might try Billy Reeds. Deli like but, very good. esp the steak (according to mom. I don't eat meat).

Cuistot is quite lovely esp. Happy Hour... Palm Desert but, not far.

I also like Acqua Pazza -again great Happy Hour. Located in "The Rivers" Rancho Mirage. Great ambience - sit outside along the water bank.

Last, very inexpensive: Fish Market Grill - not fancy, very cas. in fact, but delish! Fresh grilled

And, if you have a chance go to: - Incredible toffee.

Nothing is really that far. You can take Hwy 111 and drive right through to all these places. Brandini is probably the farthest and about 20 minutes.

    Enjoy and stay cool!

    1. We were just in PS and enjoyed Johannes and Zin. Out in the Indian Wells area, Castelli is a nice traditional Italian choice.

There is a "sister" place in PS of Acqua Pazza called LULU's...have not yet partaken, but hear great things! Also, I think Desert Turtle to be a rather dated choice and overpriced. Would NOT recommend Billy Reed' is also a bit tired and old fashioned. You might try Azul for lunch on there patio...IF NOT TOO HOT!!! It is on the main street of Palm Springs. For excellent Mexican food at terrific prices try Taco Asada on El Cielo in PS. I think it can NOT be beaten. I, too, like Zin and they have a sister place just a vew doors North of the original Zin--it is Italian and good. Enjoy our city--
