Sushi Yasuda - price for omakase?

Can anyone give me a good idea of the cost of the omakase at Sushi Yasuda? Would appreciate any input. Thanks!

The luncheon Omakase we had was $125 per person. Yasuda San actually looked after us and gave us very interesting items like 'Wild White Salmon from Alaska' , 'Baby octopus tentacles' and Uni from a number of places.
BTW, has he left for Japan yet?!

He's been gone since deb, I ate with him right before he left. Food quality is exactly the same thankfully. Plan on writing a post on it soon

Here's my report before he left chowhound.chow.com/topics/755547

We (my husband and I) usually spend about $100-150 on sushi alone, but we usually stuff ourselves so you certainly could get out for less.

It should be between $75 and $130, depending on how large your appetite is and what you eat. I've never been asked how much I'd like to spend at Yasuda, but probably, you could let them know you'd like to stay within a certain price point. Many other restaurants do ask.

Michelle eats is correct although $130 is prob pushing it. I eat here fairly regularly I'd say ex tip prob realistically looking at $80-115, I think I have a pretty normal appetite

A couple repeat rounds of toro and uni will bump up the price considerably with ease, obviously. I don't think we've ever gotten out below $100/person though, even without repeats, so perhaps my appetite is larger than most.

yah its going to depend on how much you get post the meal and if you start ordering the expensive stuff like you said
