Any recs for lunch on MOLOKAI?

Planning ahead and would love to hear of your recs for a scrumptious lunch - fancy or not. Would like very good local spot that the 4 of us would enjoy on our daytrip there this winter. I know I'm planning ahead but want to be prepared. Will have car for touring so location not an issue.

The Kualapuu Cookhouse was our favorite place to eat on a four day trip to Molokai, enough so that we went twice. They have delicious plate lunches/local food, plus a few fancy entrees that were also very tasty.
Truthfully, other than the Cookhouse, the food wasn't the highlight of Molokai, although the Molokai Drive Inn was pretty good. Stay away from the Paddler's Inn. We saw someone at the bar bring in food from the Drive Inn while we were there for dinner. That should have been our cue to go elsewhere, but unfortunately we stayed.

Come to my house on Sunday for brunch. Your choice of menu, 180 ocean view . Supportthe Molokai culinary center.

uncldon-Mahalo for your kind invite. I will definitely contact you should I find myself there this December on my annual pilgrimage.

its been years... and maybe lunch isn't the best choice, but its hard to beat Kanemitsu's. I'd pick breakfast there (oh those banana pancakes) or the late night bread ritual.

and remember on Sunday virtually the entire island, including almost every eating place, closes up shop.

Most dining is @ the Four Seasons (Manele & Koele ) or Lanai Grill. We prefer the Koele Lodge in the Mtn's for peace & quiet.

On my two trips to Lanai, we stayed at the Lodge and loved the dining choices in Lanai City. On Molokai, I would recommend the Cookhouse.
