French Press Coffee in West LA

Hey there. Does anyone know of a good breakfast place in west LA that serves french press coffee? Currently, we go to BLD for it, but that's a bit farther than we'd like to drive when it's not a special occasion.
Bonus points if the place has ricotta pancakes!

Black Cat Cafe on Fairfax is my new favorite for ricotta pancakes. And $5 cheaper than BLD makes them the best in town. Coffee is good but not french press but pancakes trump all

The Griddle definitely does, but I'm not sure that's considered West LA (?)....
