Best Russian restaurant in LA?

      def traktir. get the cherry vareniki. shalom cuisine on fairfax is not russian at all but they have another russian dumpling called pilmeni with chicken or beef. def worth it

                This pun just made my day. I will now spend the rest of my life trying to find the perfect opportunity to use this pun, but in all likelihood, the opportunity will never present itself. This pun goes in the hall of fame...

          2. excellent lamb soup and kebabies at traktir!
            sour cream/cherry cake at deli next door..and fabulous authentic sausages too.
            very nice wait staff...

            1. Uzbekistan is - you guessed it Uzbek - but they have some excellent typically Russian dishes as well. Sunset and Highland.
