      Uzbekistan is - you guessed it Uzbek - but they have some excellent typically Russian dishes as well. Sunset and Highland.

        excellent lamb soup and kebabies at traktir!
        sour cream/cherry cake at deli next door..and fabulous authentic sausages too.
        very nice wait staff...

                def traktir. get the cherry vareniki. shalom cuisine on fairfax is not russian at all but they have another russian dumpling called pilmeni with chicken or beef. def worth it
