Rome information piacere

Haven't been back in 3 years. Last visit we ate in some trendy sparse looking restaurants that were delicious with creative young chefs. Can't recall names but they were near Piazza Navona and I think also Pantheon. Are there any new restaurants to try this time? Looking for more fish than meat creatively prepared.
Also any recommendations for hotels in Pantheon or Piazza Navona neighborhoods in the 300-400$ range per night. Grazie.

There is lots going on in Rome these days, but much is not very near where you are staying. And not quite sure which ones you went to last time around.
For fish I love La Gensola, in Trastevere.
Glass, also in Trastevere is wonderful and although not new, is on the more 'creative' end of things which it sounds like you enjoy.
Settembrini: One of the hottest restaurants in town, located in Prati (across the river). Wonderful fish (as well as other)
Newly opened nearby is Vino e Camino (but not sure how much fish they have).

Thank you for the response. I remembered the restaurant we liked last time was Il Pagliaccio but it has become very expensive.

Yes, Pagliaccio is expensive (but always has been). The restaurants I suggested are much less so.
