Gelato Shop just opened in Sherman Oaks?

Has anybody tried this new Gelato shop that opened on Riverside a few doors down from Mazzarino's?

Curious to hear some feedback?

Didn't know about this gelato shop but we tried L.A. Creamery in the Fashion Square Mall last weekend. We thought the ice cream tasted like it was made mostly of milk, not cream.

It has cream as second ingredient. LA Creamery suffers from too much over run and tastes like frozen margarine.

I stopped in to take a peak about 2 months ago, and the guy at the counter seemed so uninterested in whether or not I was there or not, that I said I think I will try it some other time.
Never been back.
Across from Whole Foods, east of the Mazz.
Maybe someone will take a chance.

First impression is everything, lets wait and see if others post about this spot. I am the same way, if I'm not greeted and treated a certain way, no matter how much I like a spot, I wont return.

It's amazing how often, not being greeted and treated well, happens, even at new restaurants.
